Most German Stocks Decline as DAX Slips From Record High

Germany’s benchmark stock index, the DAX Index, rose 0.1 percent at 9:04 a.m.

The index of 30 stocks traded on the Frankfurt stock exchange added 8.01 to 8,683.74.

Infineon Technologies AG and Volkswagen AG were among the biggest gainers on the gauge.

Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic bloc took 41.5 percent to 25.7 percent for the Social Democrats of Peer Steinbrueck in yesterday’s election, according to results from all 299 districts.
