Swiss Re Ltd. (SREN), the world’s second-largest reinsurer, hired Christopher Minter, former head of private equity at Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) asset-management business, to oversee its acquisitions and principal investments.
Minter, who resigned last year as global head of DB private equity, is set to join the Zurich-based firm next month, said Rolf Tanner, a spokeswoman for Swiss Re. He will report to John Dacey, group chief strategy officer at Swiss Re, according to Tanner.
Minter did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
