NFL Season-Opening Game Begins After Lightning Delay in Denver

The National Football League regular season got under way after the start of the opening game was delayed for 44 minutes by the threat of lightning in Denver.

The game between the Broncos and the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens at Sports Authority Field at Mile High was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. local time.
