Cia. de Saneamento Basico do Estado de Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest water utility, signed an agreement to take over the concession to provide water, sewage services to Diadema, a neighboring city to Sao Paulo, according to regulatory filing.
Sabesp will also take over the labor force from Saned, the municipal company that currently provides the services. The agreement is pending approval of Diadema’s local assembly, according to the statement.
