Harper’s Communications Director MacDougall Leaving Post
Andrew MacDougall, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s director of communications, is stepping down to join public relations agency MSLGroup in London.
MSLGroup, a unit of Publicis Groupe SA, said in a statement that MacDougall will stay in the prime minister’s office until early September before joining the company in November.
MacDougall, who has worked as a spokesman for Harper since 2008, was appointed to his current post in April 2012.
