Vestas Wins 50-Megawatt China Order From Hanas New Energy

Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS) won a 50-megawatt wind-turbine order from China’s Hanas New Energy.

The order for 25 V90 2-megawatt turbines is the third by Hanas, a natural gas supplier in China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Vestas said today in a statement on its website. The Chinese company already has 150 megawatts of Vestas turbines in operation, with a further 50 megawatts under construction.

The order includes turbines, towers and a two-year service agreement, with delivery of the first machine expected this quarter, Vestas said.
