Pakistan Markets, Banks to Close Tomorrow for National Holiday

Pakistan’s central bank, stock exchanges, commercial banks, government offices and businesses will be closed on Aug. 14 for a holiday, on account of Independence Day.

The central bank, lenders, businesses, exchanges and government offices will reopen on Aug. 15, according to the government, the State Bank of Pakistan and the Karachi Stock Exchange.
