Phil Mickelson Wins British Open for Fifth Major Golf Title

Phil Mickelson won the British Open by three shots for his fifth major golf championship.

Mickelson shot 5-under par today to finish with a score of 3-under 281 at Muirfield in Gullane, Scotland. The 43-year-old American birdied four of the final six holes today on the way to his first British Open title.
