NRG Buys Utility-Scale Guam Solar Project From Quantum Utility

NRG Energy Inc., the largest independent U.S. electricity generator, acquired a utility-scale solar project in Guam from Quantum Utility Generation LLC.

NRG will build, own and operate the 25.65-megawatt power plant, which will sell electricity to the Guam Power Authority under two 25-year agreements, the Princeton, New Jersey-based company said in joint statement today. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
