Canadian Solar Completing 18 Megawatts of North Carolina Plants

Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ), the Ontario-based solar-panel company with manufacturing operations in China, completed construction of two solar projects in North Carolina and will finish a third this month.

The Lenoir 1, Lenoir 2 and Wilson 1 plants have a total of 18 megawatts of capacity, Guelph, Ontario-based Canadian Solar said today in a statement. They are part of a 15-project portfolio the company is developing with Strata Solar LLC that will reach 85 megawatts.
