Aqua America’s Texas Unit Plans $17.1 Million in Water Upgrades

Aqua America Inc. (WTR)’s Texas unit is planning $17.1 million in water and sewer infrastructure improvements this year, more than two-thirds of the upgrades designated for its southern operating divisions, it said today.

Aqua Texas Inc. provides water and wastewater services to about 177,000 residents across the state, the company said in a statement. Aqua America is the second-largest publicly traded water utility in the U.S. after American Water Works Co.
