SNCB Revenue Dragged Down by Merchandise Transport, L’Echo Says

SNCB Holding SA’s revenue fell 2.3% in the first quarter on shrinking earnings in the group’s merchandise transport subsidiary, L’Echo reported today. Belgium’s national railway sales decreased to 391.6 million euros ($509 million) from 401 million euros last year, according to accounts validated by the board and seen by L’Echo.
