Canada Appoints Balsillie as Chairman of Clean Technology Agency

The Canadian government appointed former BlackBerry co-chief executive officer Jim Balsillie as chairman of a government agency that funds clean technologies.

Balsillie will serve as chairman of Sustainable Development Technology Canada on a part-time basis for a five-year term, Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver said today in a release from Toronto.
