Swedish Krona Drops to One-Year Low Versus Euro as Krone Slides

Sweden’s krona tumbled to its weakest level in more than a year versus the euro and Norway’s krone also declined.

The Swedish currency depreciated as much as 1.5 percent to 8.89 per euro, the weakest level since June 18, 2012, and was at 8.8783 at 1:37 p.m. London time. It dropped as much as 2 percent to 6.8018 per dollar.

The Norwegian krone slid as much as 1.3 percent to 8.0508 per euro, the weakest level since Dec. 2, 2010. It fell 1.4 percent to 6.1464 per dollar.
