U.K. Water Company Severn Trent Awards Sewer Works to May Gurney

Severn Trent Plc (SVT), the U.K.’s second-largest publicly traded water company, awarded a three-year sewer and maintenance contract valued at 30 million pounds ($46.4 million) to May Gurney Integrated Services Plc. (MAYG)

May Gurney said today in a statement that the new Severn Trent Water contract is one of three totalling 80 million pounds recently awarded to the U.K. company by water utilities. May Gurney is the fourth-largest municipal waste-collection service provider in the U.K. and helps maintain roads and railways.
