Mattingly Joins Gibson in Dodgers-Diamondbacks Brawl Suspensions

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly and Arizona Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson were among eight suspended by Major League Baseball after a fight between the teams June 11.

Also suspended were Arizona pitcher Ian Kennedy for 10 games and infielder Eric Hinske for five; Dodgers pitcher J.P. Howell, infielder Skip Schumaker and hitting coach Mark McGwire for two; and Dodgers pitcher Ronald Belisario for one.
