Canada Appoints Pecman for Five Years as Competition Watchdog

Industry Minister Christian Paradis named John Pecman as head of the country’s competition regulator for a five-year term.

Pecman has been with the agency for almost three decades and has been working at the top job on an interim basis, according to a statement from Paradis in Ottawa today.
