Bruins Beat Penguins 3-0 in NHL Eastern Conference Finals Opener

The Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-0 in the opening game of the National Hockey League’s Eastern Conference Finals.

The winner of the best-of-seven series will play the Chicago Blackhawks or the Los Angeles Kings in the Stanley Cup. The Blackhawks topped the Kings 2-1 in the opening game of the Western Conference series.

David Krejci scored two goals and Nathan Horton added a third for the Bruins at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

The Penguins host Game 2 on June 3.
