Scotiabank’s Waugh Will Be Replaced by Porter After Retirement

Bank of Nova Scotia said Chief Executive Officer Rick Waugh will retire Nov. 1 and be replaced by Brian Porter.

Waugh will stay on the board and become deputy chairman until Jan. 31, 2014, the Toronto-based lender said today in a statement.
