Toronto Mayor Ford Says He’s Not an Addict, Denies Cocaine Use

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he is not an addict and denies using crack cocaine.

“I do not use crack cocaine,” Ford told reporters at city hall today. “Nor am I an addict of crack cocaine.”

The Toronto Star newspaper said on May 16 two of its reporters watched a cellphone video allegedly showing Ford smoking from a crack cocaine pipe. Ford said he can’t comment on a video he hasn’t seen.
