Dunkin’ Brands CEO Nigel Travis Named Chairman as Luther Retires

Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. (DNKN), the owner of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins ice cream, said Chief Executive Officer Nigel Travis will add the role of chairman to succeed Jon Luther, who is retiring.

Luther, 69, will leave his posts as director and chairman as of May 15, the Canton, Massachusetts-based company said today in a statement.

Travis, 63, formerly of Papa John’s International Inc., started as Dunkin’ Brands CEO in January 2009.
