Connecticut Water Reports 37% Profit Gain After Acquisitions
Connecticut Water Service Inc. (CTWS), the largest publicly traded water provider in the U.S. Northeast, reported first-quarter profit increased 37 percent to $2.6 million from a year earlier.
The Clinton, Connecticut-based company that supplies drinking water to about 400,000 people acquired Maine Water Co. and Biddeford & Saco Water Co. in 2012.
