Moscow Opposition Rally on Hold After Worker Dies, Interfax Says

Moscow authorities suspended the construction of a stage for an opposition rally later today after a worker died during the preparations, RIA Novosti reported, citing an investigative official, Sergei Stukalov.

The organizers of the event have been told to move the stage to another location on Bolotnaya square in downtown Moscow, the state-run news service cited a department head at the Moscow Mayor’s office, Alexei Mayorov, as saying.
