Swiss tennis player Stanislas Wawrinka returns a ball to Spanish player David Ferrer during the Portugal Open tennis tournament men's singles final match in Oeiras, Portugal.

Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland upset Spain’s David Ferrer in straight sets in the final of tennis’s ATP Portugal Open.

Second-seeded Wawrinka defeated top seed Ferrer 6-1, 6-4 in Oeiras.

Tommy Haas beat his German compatriot Philipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets to win the ATP BMW Open. Third-seeded Haas defeated the No. 4 seed 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) in Munich.
