Morgan Stanley (MS) hired Michele Davis, who held communications roles at George W. Bush’s White House and Henry Paulson’s Treasury Department, as global head of corporate affairs.
Davis will join as a managing director, Chief Executive Officer James Gorman and vice chairman Tom Nides wrote in a memo to employees today. In her last government position, she helped Paulson’s team during the credit crisis.
“Michele’s extensive experience will serve the firm well as we communicate our strategic vision to stakeholders and continue to build our franchise,” they wrote.
