Arsenal is among teams interested in Sevilla’s France Under-20 team midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, the Sun reported.

Kondogbia, who would cost 17 million pounds ($26.4 million), is also “on the radar of” Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid, according to the Sun.

Lescott Move?

Joleon Lescott may leave Manchester City to improve his chances of playing for England at next year’s World Cup, the Daily Mail reported.

The defender said it was a “reality check” to be left out of England’s qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro last month, according to the Mail.

Boro Striker

Middlesbrough wants to sign Real Madrid striker Javier Acuna, the Daily Mail reported.

The 24-year-old Paraguayan is on loan at second-division Girona and is available on a free transfer after this season, the Mail said.

QPR Woe

Queens Park Rangers coach Harry Redknapp said the team will find it “very, very hard” to return to the Premier League, the Daily Mirror reported. The club was relegated along with Reading after the teams drew 0-0 yesterday.

QPR plans to release striker Loic Remy, defender Chris Samba and goalkeeper Julio Cesar to reduce its wage bill, the Mirror said.
