The suspected bombers of the Boston Marathon considered traveling to New York City for a second attack, according to a federal law enforcement official.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the alleged bombers, told investigators that he and his brother, Tamerlan, had a plan to drive to the city to plant more explosive devices, the official said. Times Square may have been the target.
