Pacers Beat Hawks 107-90 in Opening Game of NBA Playoff Series

Paul George scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds and 12 assists as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 107-90 in the first game of their National Basketball Association playoff series.

The teams will return to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on April 24 for Game 2 in the best-of-seven first- round series.

Also today in the Eastern Conference, the NBA champion Miami Heat host the Milwaukee Bucks in the opening game of their series. In the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers visit the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Houston Rockets.

On the first day of the postseason yesterday, the New York Knicks rallied past the Boston Celtics 85-78 and the Brooklyn Nets routed the Chicago Bulls 106-89 in the Eastern Conference. In the West, the Denver Nuggets edged the Golden State Warriors 97-95 and the Los Angeles Clippers eased to a 112-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
