SunPower Begins Construction of Two Projects in California

SunPower Corp., the largest U.S. maker of silicon-based solar panels, began construction on two projects in California that total 5.8 megawatts.

The solar power systems will be in the cities of Woodland and Davis, and both will be owned by Yolo County, according to a statement today. The projects are expected to be finished later this year.
