Greenhill Energy Adviser Mark Bentley Leaves Investment Bank
Greenhill & Co. energy banker Mark Bentley has left the New York-based firm, according to the U.K.’s Financial Services Register.
London-based Bentley, who was hired as a managing director by Greenhill in 2010, left the investment bank as of March 1, according to the register. Before joining Greenhill, the advisory firm founded by U.S. dealmaker Robert Greenhill, Bentley worked as co-head of natural resources and energy at HSBC Holdings Plc and in roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Lehman Brothers.
An official at Greenhill couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. The firm was the 18th-ranked adviser on mergers and acquisitions globally last year, working on $65.9 billion in announced deals, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
