German 10-year bunds advanced, pushing the yield on the securities to the lowest in almost eight months.

The rate dropped as much as two basis points, or 0.02 percentage point, to 1.255 percent, the lowest since Aug. 3. It was at 1.26 percent as of 8:59 a.m. London time.
