Fiji Beats Wales 26-19 to Win Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Title

Fiji rallied to beat Wales 26-19 and defend its Hong Kong Sevens rugby title.

Osea Kolinisau scored three second-half tries as the Fijians, who trailed 19-0 at halftime of the Cup final, fought back to claim their second tournament victory in the International Rugby Board’s 2012-2013 Sevens World Series.

New Zealand tops the standings with 113 points through six of nine events. Fiji’s victory lifted it to second place with 88 points.

The next tournament is scheduled March 30-31 in Tokyo.
