U.S. personal spending probably increased by the most in five months in February, data in the coming week are likely to show, an indication the biggest economy picked up at the start of this year. U.S. new home sales probably held near a four-year high.
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear cases on same-sex marriage and generic drugs.
Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. and Gome Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd. (493) will be among companies releasing results.
The leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will gather for their annual summit, as will leaders of Arab League nations.
