Vestas Receives 34-Megawatt Wind Turbine Order in Italy

Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS) said it received a 34-megawatt order from ERG Renew SpA.

The order is for 17 V100 2-megawatt wind turbines for the Palazzo San Gervasio wind farm in Basilicata, Italy, Vestas said today in a statement on its website. Delivery is due for the second half of 2013, with the wind farm expected to be commissioned by year-end, the Aarhus, Denmark-based company said.
