Egypt Judges to Review Cement Company Appeals Against Gas Prices

A panel of judges in Egypt will review appeals by five cement makers against Prime Minister Hisham Qandil’s decision to raise natural-gas prices for the companies , a Cairo Administrative Court said.

The panel will look into appeals by Tourah Portland Cement, Suez Cement (SUCE) Co., Alexandria Cement, Beni Suef Cement Co. and Helwan Cement Co. against the fuel price increase that started January 2012, the court said in a faxed statement.
