Debenhams Says Moving Away from Discounts Would Be ’Suicide’

Debenhams Plc (DEB), the U.K.’s second- biggest department-store chain, ruled out reducing its reliance on promotions like its Blue Cross sales.

“It would be suicide to move away from that,” Marketing Director Richard Cristofoli said at a conference in London today.
