Metso Equipment Used in ‘Largest’ Biomass Gasification Facility

Metso Oyj (MEO1V), a Finnish engineering company, said its equipment was used in the world’s largest biomass gasification plant, started up by Vaskiluodon Voima Oy.

Metso supplied Vaskiluodon with a 140-megawatt facility that uses organic waste to produce power, the Helsinki-based company said today in a statement on its website.
