North Korea Achieves Nothing Through Provocations, Pentagon Says

North Korea “will achieve nothing through threats of provocations,” Pentagon spokesman George Little said today in an e-mailed statement.
Little said the U.S. “is fully capable of defending itself and our allies” against a North Korean attack and is “firmly committed to the defense of” South Korea and Japan.
