Aluminum Shipments by Japan Decrease 8.7% in January

Japan’s shipments of rolled-aluminum products decreased 8.7 percent in January, the third month of decline.

Supplies to domestic and export markets decreased to 142,790 metric tons last month from 156,455 tons a year earlier, the Japan Aluminium Association said in a report today.
