Thailand Stocks Update: SET Index Falls to 1,533.49
(Corrects to remove false data on number of stocks rising and falling in second paragraph.)
Thailand’s benchmark stock index, the SET Index, fell 0.43 percent at 10:05 a.m.
The index of 498 companies traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand fell 6.64 to 1,533.49.
Declines in the SET Index were led by Siam Cement Pcl, Siam Commercial Bank Ltd and Cp All Pcl. About 1.06 billion shares changed hands.
Cp All Pcl, which fell 0.75 baht to 47.00 baht, was the most active stock by value in Thailand.
The next most-active issues were Advanced Info Service Pu, which rose 1.00 baht to 205.00 baht, and Union Mosaic Industry Pcl, which rose 1.00 baht to 30.75 baht.
