Lew Nomination for Treasury Chief to Get Committee Vote Feb. 26

Jacob "Jack" Lew, U.S. treasury secretary nominee and former White House chief of staff.

The Senate Finance Committee will vote on Feb. 26 on former White House chief of staff Jack Lew’s nomination to become Treasury Secretary, panel chief Max Baucus said.

The vote will take place during a previously scheduled hearing that will start at 10 a.m., Baucus, a Montana Democrat, said in an e-mailed statement today.
