Wake Forest Upsets Second-Ranked Miami in College Basketball

Wake Forest University defeated the University of Miami 80-65, ending the second-ranked Hurricanes’ 14-game winning streak.
C.J. Harris scored 23 points, making all five of his 3- point shots, and Codi Miller-McIntyre added 15 points to lead Wake (12-14, 5-9 Atlantic Coast Conference) to the home win yesterday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Durand Scott scored 17 points for Miami (22-4, 13-1 ACC), the last school in any of college basketball’s top six conferences to get its first league loss.
In other games involving top-five teams, No. 3 Gonzaga defeated San Diego 81-50 and No. 5 Florida topped Arkansas 71- 54.
