Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) appointed Samuel Robinson chief administrative officer and head of strategy for the investment-banking division, according to a memo to employees.
Robinson will help develop and execute the business’s strategy and focus on daily operations, according to the memo, a copy of which was obtained by Bloomberg News. Michael DuVally, a spokesman for the New York-based firm, confirmed the memo’s contents. The Wall Street Journal reported the appointment earlier today.
