Drought Conditions May Improve in Upper Midwest, U.S. Says

Drought conditions may improve in the next three months across parts of the Midwest, including Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri, according to the U.S. Climate Prediction Center in College Park, Maryland.

Dryness is expected to persist through the Great Plains from Nebraska to Texas and spread through most of California, according to the center’s seasonal outlook. Drought may consume the entire Florida peninsula while improving in the state’s Panhandle region.
