Bank of Canada Lends C$125 Million of Securities for One Day

The Bank of Canada made C$125 million ($123 million) in one-day loans of securities, under a program that aims to boost the supply of government bonds and treasury bills in the market when demand is high.

The Ottawa-based central bank announced the loan, which follows similar lending the previous two days, on its website today.
