Allstate Corp., the largest publicly traded U.S. home and auto insurer, said Joshua Smith and James Farrell will step down from the company’s board of directors.
Smith, 71, is reaching the retirement age set by Allstate’s board policy, and Farrell, 70, will not seek re-election in May for personal reasons, the Northbrook, Illinois-based company said in a statement today distributed by PR Newswire.
