Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa casts his vote at a polling station in Quito.

Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa claimed victory in today’s national elections, defeating seven opposition candidates for another four-year term.

“This victory belongs to each of you,” Correa said today from the presidential palace in Quito. “No one and nothing is stopping this revolution friends, we are making history.”
