Chelsea Defeats Brentford 4-0 in F.A. Cup Fourth-Round Replay
Chelsea beat third-tier Brentford 4- 0 in a fourth-round replay in English soccer’s F.A. Cup today.
Juan Mata, Oscar, Frank Lampard and captain John Terry got the goals for Cup-holder Chelsea in the second half at Stamford Bridge. The Blues will play at Middlesbrough in the fifth round.
Later today, Manchester City hosts Leeds United and Huddersfield plays Wigan in fifth-round games. Swansea plays at Liverpool in a Premier League match.
Yesterday second-tier Blackburn upset Arsenal 1-0 in the F.A. Cup fifth round. Millwall won 3-0 at non-league Luton, Barnsley won 3-1 at MK Dons and third-division Oldham drew 2-2 with Everton. Manchester United hosts Reading tomorrow.
