Messi Scores 300th Goal for Barcelona in 2-1 Win Over Granada

Lionel Messi scored his 300th and 301st career goals for Barcelona as the Spanish soccer leader rallied in the second half to beat Granada 2-1.

Odion Ighalo gave Granada the lead in the 26th minute and Messi pulled Barcelona even early in the second half. Messi then scored with a free kick in the 72nd minute, giving him 37 league goals, and 48 in total, for the season.

The victory extends Bareclona’s lead La Liga to 15 points over Atletico Madrid and 19 over Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid plays Real Valladolid and Real Madrid hosts Rayo Vallecano tomorrow.
