Brazil’s Eike Batista to Sell Energy Company MPX, Veja Says

Brazilian billionaire Eike Batista plans to sell his controlling stake in energy company MPX, magazine Veja columnist Lauro Jardim reported.

The most likely buyer is Germany’s E.ON, Jardim reported, without saying where he obtained the information.

A spokeswoman for Batista’s holding company couldn’t immediately provide comment when contacted by Bloomberg.
